‘Graham’s March march’ – walking 100 miles during the month of March

If you have been keeping an eye on Twinspires News or Village News you will have noticed my brief updates about the Lordshill ‘Basic Bank’. In particular, the huge increase in the numbers of people in need visiting. To help the service that we provide continue I want to raise money for Southampton City Mission food banks.

I have set a fund-raising target of £1,000.00, but I have no expectation that I will meet this – it is however an indication of the magnitude of the scale of the problem.

To raise this I have decided to do ‘Graham’s March march’, which is to walk 100 miles during the month of March.

To read more about what I am doing and why, visit my fundraising page:

I have also produced a short video, which may be found at:

You can give with a credit or debit card using the fund-raising page. Plus, if you’re a UK tax payer, don’t forget your giving could be increased through Gift Aid, meaning Southampton City Mission will receive even more!

If you would prefer to give off-line, then of course I am happy to receive that – I’m usually in church on Sundays – so that I can add it to the online fund.

Thank you for reading this, and in anticipation of your support.

Your prayers for me would also be appreciated – for good health so that I may achieve my goal! 😊

Best wishes – Graham Swinerd
