Apart from the first Sunday of the month, youth and children’s groups are offered at the Twinspires@10 service at St John’s Church:
- Crèche for the under 3’s on the 2nd and 4th Sundays of the month
- Sunday Club for primary school children
- Ichthians for those at secondary school.
During the week there are a range of activities on offer:
- Parents & Tots Group on Mondays 9:30 – 11:30 at the Community Centre
- NET for for years 3 – 11 on Fridays 6:30 – 8 at the Church Hall
- MORE for those at secondary school on Mondays 7 – 8:15 at the Church Hall
- Messy Church’ meets once a term in the Scout hut
Services are hosted, usually at St John’s, for the local pre-schools, toddler group and primary schools at major festivals.
Classes from both Rownhams School and Nursling School visit St John’s for special activity days as they start and end their time at primary school; the Year 6 children visit for leaver services as they prepare to move on to secondary school.
