Who's Who: (Hover over box for more information)

I am the oldest of the Church of England 'Readers' in the Parish! I too have the privilege of preaching and leading services. I also undertake funeral services, do pastoral visits and take out Holy Communion to the housebound. I am further blessed by being given 'Special Responsibility' for our St. Boniface Church family alongside the deputy Warden Ken, .

Jim Stanley Smith

Honorary Curate.  I'm on the services rota and also available to take funerals.I also lead a home group.

Julian Willliams

I have been the vicar of Nursling and Rownhams since 2000, still capable of new ideas. Before coming here I served 9 years in Wales.  I trained at Wycliffe Hall, Oxford. Read about other members of our wonderful team on this page.

Church Warden St Boniface -
post vacant

Jean Wylde

KEN Journeaux

I am deputy warden at St. Boniface Church, and assist in the weekly services, and funeral and wedding services. I have been involved in the installation of water in the vestry, the sink unit and the removal of the old pipe organ and the relocation of the electronic organ . I am also involved with the general upkeep of this beautiful church.

Church Warden St John's
I have been living in Rownhams and attending St. John's since 2008. I have previously been involved in St. John's ministry to the elderly. I am excited about taking on the role of Deputy Church Warden when I am not working as a Civil Servant.

I am the Parish Administrator and the P.C.C. Secretary. I organise the Sunday Club and lead a home group mainly for mothers with pre-school children. I also co-ordinate the 'Helping Hands' Scheme..

I am the church treasurer, ably assisted by a finance team. I also help with the Sunday Club and am a 'regular' at the 7am prayer group on Wednesday mornings.

Gill McKay

I have been Safeguarding Officer for the parish since 2014.  I deal with all DBS checks for those working with children and vulnerable adults and am the main port of call and link to the Diocese for any safeguarding issues or information.

I moved to Rownhams at the end of 2007 after 43 years in Nottingham where I was a University lecturer.  We are now nearer our family and boat!  Taking on the role of Gift Aid Secretary is a challenge and some  people question  whether my degrees in mathematics will be any help with the figures!
